Health care of Tarantulas is one of the important features that are to be taken care of if you want to maintain a healthy tarantula. Yeah. The health care of Tarantulas comprises many features pertaining to the prevention of many infections etc.
If any adult cricket injures the tarantula during the feeding activity, then the injuries have to be identified and some times, severe injuries may be seen on the body of these tarantulas that are in the molting periods. Yeah. The molting creatures are weak in their activities and they are more vulnerable to the disease problems or injuries.
So, always try to take an extra care whenever you start to note the signs of molting in the concerned tarantulas.
Never overcrowd the tank with many numbers of these creatures and such actions may lead to many stress factors for these creatures and hence, they get infected and may have a different type of movements.
Many times, the affected ones or the diseased ones may show reduced movements unlike their movements in other periods.
Health care related measures are to be undertaken even while you are handling these spiders. Yeah. A fall from a small distance may lead to the rupture of the abdomen of these spiders. Many times, the fall may become fatal also. Hence, take care while handling the tarantulas.
Frequently check up the walking pattern with its eight legs. If there is any change in the walking style, then look for the presence of any abscess in the leg regions. Yeah. If there a minute abscess, this may create problem in walking by these tiny tarantulas.
If there is powdery blue blood material seen oozing from the abdomen, then you have to understand that some big injuries might have happened in the concerned tarantulas. Due medical attention is then required immediately in those occasions.
Never wipe the inside of the tanks with severely caustic preparations with a purpose of cleaning the tank. In such occasions, the skin may be found with allergic eruptions and in such occasions, the outer portions of the body regions may not have an uniform appearance.
Large tarantulas need special attention in terms of health care. Yeah. Take care from falling because they have some what a bulged abdomen, unlike the smaller sized tarantulas.
If you don't provide them with adequate feeds soaked with multivitamin powder and minerals during the routine health care of Tarantulas, then there may be an imbalance in the nutrient level especially with calcium. The movements become restricted and there may be joint based problems arising in such occasions. Hence, good health care of tarantulas is a must in general.
